| Company Introduction |
The Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology(KIOST), established in 1973, is the only comprehensive ocean research institute in Korea. Over the past 52 years, KIOST has continuously expanded its research infrastructure to support marine research and has led the advancement of the nation’s ocean science and technology. KIOST conducts a wide range of research to address national and societal challenges, including marine resource exploration, marine biotechnology and climate change solutions, responses to changes in the marine environment, utilization of marine big data, prediction of marine disasters, and strengthening of maritime capabilities. Through these efforts, KIOST makes tangible contributions to improving the quality of life for the people |
